What the old page remembered.

A separate old Lake Meredith page discussed Rosita and Blue Creek Bridge as two riding areas. It remembered sand, hill climbs, primitive surroundings and the need to carry drinking water and food.

This is a summary of the recovered page. It does not establish today’s trail conditions, facilities or permitted vehicles.

The place today.

NPS still identifies Rosita Flats and Blue Creek as designated ORV areas. These are separate locations with their own boundaries; the modern TXMUD link below covers Rosita Flats, including its reported flood closure and unconfirmed reopening.

Present-day identity checked 2026-10-22. A current listing is not confirmation that a destination is open on your travel date.

Where this came from.

Recovered from txmud.com/mainwebsite_html/trails/nt/lakemeredith.html in the owner’s Texas Mud Backup archive. The original banner was stored with the page. Its snapshot date is unknown.

Historical material only. Do not use the old page’s fees, hours, phone numbers, event dates, maps or safety statements as current riding guidance.
