YOUR EMAIL IS NOT YOUR TRAIL NAME
Privacy & rider data.
Updated October 26, 2026.
Your rider account
Saved events are visible only to your signed-in account. Trail and event sharing sends only the public guide title and URL to the sharing option you choose; it does not include your email, rigs, insurance, warranties, maintenance or saved list. If you opt into saved-event updates, TXMUD stores your verified sign-in email with that private subscription and sends only confirmed date changes or cancellations to you. Unchecking the preference or removing the event removes the subscription address. No one is opted in automatically. Calendar downloads contain public event details only. Adding an event to a calendar creates a separate copy that does not update automatically.
TXMUD uses your email for one-time sign-in codes and account identification. Choose a trail nickname for public contributions. Your email is not included in public review or discussion responses.
Account records include your nickname, saved parks and events, garage machines, private maintenance records and photos, bookmarks and submitted reviews, discussions and replies. Sign-in is handled by Supabase; site records are stored in a Cloudflare database. Machine photos are stored in Cloudflare object storage.
What other riders see
Approved reviews and discussions show your trail nickname and the visit details you submit. Avoid adding phone numbers, email addresses, precise private locations or other personal information to your post. Moderators can review submissions and hide published contributions.
Machine cards & bookmarks
Maintenance logs and service photos are owner-only and are never attached to public posts or sent to the AI link finder. Logs include dates, work, meter readings, notes, optional costs, current meter readings and next-service targets. Dashboard reminders compare your targets with the calendar and entered readings; they do not collect vehicle telemetry. Optional email reminder choices are stored privately with each rig. If you opt in, we also store your verified sign-in email as the reminder destination, plus last-attempt/sent times to prevent duplicates. This contact record is removed when you turn off every rig’s reminders or remove all opted-in rigs. A separate reminder cooldown keeps only your account ID and attempt time so opting out and back in cannot cause duplicate emails; scheduled checks clear cooldowns older than eight days. When delivery is enabled, Hostinger processes your email address and a brief category-count message with a Garage link; VINs, policy numbers, provider names, rig details and service notes are excluded. Eligible reminders are combined into at most one email per week. Delivery is marked setup pending until the sender and scheduled checks are connected; check the dashboard while pending. Removing a machine also removes its maintenance records and service photos. Archiving an entry keeps it available to restore. Your garage and bookmarks are private. Optional VIN/serial numbers, multiple insurance policies (company, policy number, insured VIN, expiration and contact phone), plus Factory and Extended warranties (provider, policy number, expiration, deductible and phone) are owner-only. They are excluded from public post cards, AI requests and search shortcuts. Equipment Print/PDF copies include these private details and photos by default. You can uncheck either option and update the preview before printing or saving a PDF. Maintenance-only views exclude identifiers and coverage. Do not share such copies publicly. These are rider-entered records, not verification of active coverage. If you choose a machine when posting to Trail talk, its details and photo are included with the post for moderation and public display after approval. Old post cards keep their original details. Removing a machine removes its cards from earlier posts. Optional model-specific searches are separate from saved bookmarks and researched resources. Opening a starter search link sends those terms to the search provider. If you choose Find links for my machine and confirm, TXMUD sends only machine type, year, make, model, trim and model code to OpenAI and its search service. Photos, modifications, nickname, email and bookmarks are excluded. Model research results are cached for up to 30 days and may be reused for other riders with the same machine. Search attempts are counted against your rider account for daily limits; old counts are removed after expiry. Results do not become bookmarks until you select and save them. Source checks confirm a URL responded, not exact manual coverage, service accuracy or parts compatibility.
Cookies and saved parks
Sign-in uses session cookies. Saved parks can be kept in this browser’s local storage when you are signed out; signed-in saved parks are stored with your account. Clearing browser data can remove a device-only saved list.
Your choices
My Garage lets you change your nickname, manage saved parks and find your contributions. You can withdraw your own discussion posts and update your park review. For account or data-removal requests, contact info@txmud.com; account deletion is not currently a self-service feature.
Find My Ride
Signed-in riders can request suggestions from TXMUD’s 25 destinations. Only the listed rigs’ type, year, make, model, trim, model code, quantities and entered widths, plus riding style, group size, camping needs, optional trip dates and the trip description you choose to provide are sent to OpenAI. Do not put personal contact details or private records in the description. Your account email, nickname, photos, saved modifications, bookmarks and maintenance are excluded. Trips are not saved to your rider profile. Plans without descriptions may be reused in server memory for 10 minutes; plans with free-text descriptions are not shared through the result cache, and account-based daily limits control fresh AI requests. Dated requests may search public official destination sources. Matches are provisional: normal schedules do not confirm a future opening, absence of a closure notice does not prove access, and camping listings do not prove vacancy or group capacity.
Basic visitor analytics
TXMUD counts public page views and estimated browsing visits in aggregate by day, public page and broad referral source such as Google or Facebook. The counter does not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, names, emails, query strings or full referring URLs, and it does not record My Garage, Garage, maintenance or moderator activity. A tab-local timestamp estimates a new visit after 30 minutes of inactivity; it does not identify you across devices. The first-party counter uses your existing TXMUD sign-in session solely to exclude verified moderators automatically on every device. Identity is not written to analytics records or sent to a third-party analytics provider. Aggregate counts are visible only to the TXMUD moderator and kept up to 400 days. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Like other site requests, network infrastructure processes requests separately from these aggregate counters.
External websites
Operator, booking, map and video links lead to other services with their own privacy practices. TXMUD does not process rental payments.
