THE ORIGINAL TEXAS MUD

Some things
never wash off.

Our roots go back to 1998. A familiar name, the same orange, and a new chapter for finding places to ride in Texas.

BACK WHERE IT STARTED

Good places.
Good people.
Plenty of mud.

Our roots go back to 1998. The old site brought Texas riding spots together in one place. Its clickable state map and unmistakable orange-and-black colors are the starting point for this revival.

The founder remembers publishing TXMUD in 1998 and telling tech-school classmates about it during 1997–1999. The current domain registry record lists txmud.com as registered in 2000; it does not establish the original website’s launch day. View the registry record ↗

Today, finding a place to ride takes more planning. This new guide puts official maps, fees, vehicle restrictions and access information alongside the places themselves.

Old listings are part of our history. Every location in this directory has been researched again against current official sources.
