Know the ground rules.

  • Helmets are required. Follow current safety instructions and posted riding-area signs.
  • No night riding; leave riding areas within the published seasonal hours.
  • Jeeps, dune buggies and other full-size 4×4 vehicles are not allowed. Ask about unusual vehicle types before hauling.
  • Visitors must arrive within permitted access hours unless an exception has been approved by the office.
  • Observe campground speed signs, keep pets leashed, bag trash and use the entrance dumpsters.
Permits & access: The operator’s FAQ says an OHV permit is not required at this private facility. Park admission and current operator requirements still apply; this is not an exemption for riding elsewhere in Texas.
