KEEP THE GOOD PLACES OPEN
Know the ground rules.
- Use the marked two-way beach roadway between the dunes and posts; observe the 15 mph limit and other traffic rules.
- Do not drive or park in dunes, vegetation or the protected pedestrian area toward the water.
- The city's ATV/UTV prohibition has only a narrow exception for vehicles with a regular Texas DMV plate; verify any unusual registration directly with the city.
- Beach camping is limited to three nights in a 21-day period.
- Watch tides and storms, give pedestrians room and keep beach access clear.
